Maurice Morris will start at running back in the Seahawks' season opener against the Bills on Sunday.
Also starting will be first-round draft choice Lawrence Jackson (right defensive end) and second-round pick John Carlson (tight end).
Coach Mike Holmgren just made those announcements during his weekly news conference – although this one was held in the auditorium at the team's new facility, with Holmgren on the stage in a very presidential setting.
Also expect Ray Willis to continue filling in for Sean Locklear (sprained knee) at right tackle; Pro Bowl middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu (bruised knee) to play; and the team to use a lot of players at running back, wide receiver, tight end and on the D-line.

I'm glad they're giving Morris the nod to start the season. I'm sure the starts will be split until (or if) one of them proves they are the starter. But I'm glad to see Morris get the nod for the season opener.
