Armen Napoleon Stepanian, once known as the "Mayor of Fremont," sits at the "Waiting for the Interurban" sculpture. The face of the dog in the sculpture is said to be modeled after Stepanian, a lampoon that does not amuse the man who also considers himself the "Christopher Columbus of curb collection."
