Near Northeast
From affluent Laurelhurst with its stately homes or folksy Wedgwood with its "small-town" feel, this part of town offers something for everyone. The area boasts several trendy Seattle neighborhoods -- including Ravenna and the U-District -- as well as the main campus of the University of Washington. The farther north you go in the northeast quadrant, the more "rural" the setting and laid back the way of life.
