South Seattle
Ethnically and economically diverse, the neighborhoods in the Emerald City's southeast quadrant are communities in transition. Poorer areas are starting to enjoy a resurgence as still-affordable housing prices draw in newcomers. Local residents, however, are keen on not losing their roots in the face of increasing gentrification.
