Making products from Washington crops is a big industry here because our state has a variety of quality crops, lots of clean water and cheap energy to manufacture them, and nearby seaports for easy exporting.More than 40,000 people work full-time to preserve Washington's harvest by canning, freezing, drying or making juice, jam, salsa, chips, candy, bagels or zillions of other delicious food products.
