Beginning Monday, March 9, Stevens Pass Ski Area is dropping its lift ticket price to $10 on Mondays and Tuesdays until the end of the season April 12. The normal Monday-Tuesday rate is $16.

Stevens night skiing will end after March 15.

Last day for Mission Ridge will be April 12, and next Monday through Friday, March 9-13, kids 12 and younger ski free when accompanied by a paying adult. Mission's "Flamingo Season" begins March 21, with midweek rates applying on weekends for the rest of the season. Adult lift tickets will be $24.

White Pass operates daily through April 12 and then weekends only through April 26. Beginning March 16, lift rates there drop to $24 for adults and $17 for children. On the final two weekends, rates drop further to $20 and $17.

Crystal Mountain plans full operations through April 20.

Mount Baker plans normal operations through March, shifting to Friday-Sunday operations through April 26.

The Summit, which operates four areas on Snoqualmie Pass, has not announced lift-rate specials beginning April 1..

The Summit also plans special attractions during college spring break. The biggest will be "Board Stiff 3" on March 28, a snowboarding festival featuring the band Rancid and at least three others, and pro riders in jumps, halfpipe and a dual banked slalom.

Season-ending plans are also not complete at Snoqualmie, but Lou Lenihan, marketing director for The Summit, said Summit Central will likely close at the end of March, Summit West continuing for another two weeks, and Alpental running Fridays-through-Sundays into late April, conditions allowing.
