The online version of Grown in Washington is based on the special section published in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer Feb. 24, 1998.

Designed for students in grades 3 through 8, this colorful, 16-page section is full of fun activities and cool classroom ideas. Most of its content, but not all, is included in this Web site. At the same time, this site includes information not found in the print version.

A curriculum guide with additional activities and resources is also available. The full text of this guide is available on the Web.
