Child care professional has a warped view of world

THE POWER TO HARM Thank you for your thought-provoking report on the Wenatchee sex-abuse trials. I was particularly fascinated by the comments of Child Protective Services supervisor Tim Abbey, who stated that when a child denies being abused, it's a lie, while if a child claims to have been abused, the child is telling the truth. Apparently, Abbey believes that every child in the world has been sexually abused. Is that a healthy world view for a child care professional?

As for Detective Bob Perez, there is an old saying: The master conspirator accuses everyone else of conspiracy. Perez regularly and shamelessly lied to people (kids and adults alike) while accusing them of being liars. That dangerous individual must be brought to justice immediately.
